2019-12-17devel: use mounts for developmentJeremy Plsek1-0/+13
This removes the need to rebuild the containers every time for simple changes during development. This does not include python dependencies since those are installed globally in the container. (I would have done the same for JS dependencies, but it's used in the static files.) Removed the background flag for running in dev mode when using make. It's easier to kill the servers (^C) and view logs of the server without needing to call separate commands later. Nginx is disabled in dev mode since the server and static files are handled by Django instead. Update readme to reflect upon changes made. 2019-07-10Fixes Building and Deploying ContainersParker Berberian1-8/+4
By not mounting the local directory in the container, we avoid the problem of the static files being overwritten. This change forces you to run `make build; make dev-up` for *every* change, even templates. 2018-10-08Development Override Compose FileTrevor Bramwell1-0/+25
Now that images are built and hosted for the dashboard and worker container the compose file can reference upstream images instead of ones locally built. A second compose file is added which overrides compose configuration so that images are built locally. Initial commands for running the container are moved into 'init.sh' which gets copied into the image, since the current images cannot be ran by themselves as they require the command listed in the compose file. The compose version bumped from 2 to 3 as there are no version 2 specific features being used that need to be modified.
