2017-07-14Adds network/cidr mapping into a new service propertyGiulio Fidente1-0/+4
Makes it possible to resolve network subnets within a service template; the data is transported into a new property ServiceData wired into every service which hopefully is generic enough to be extended in the future and transport more data. Data can be consumed in service templates to set config values which need to know what is the subnet where a deamon operates (for example the Ceph Public vs Cluster network). 2017-05-15Add role specific information to the service templateSaravanan KR1-0/+8
When a service is enabled on multiple roles, the parameters for the service will be global. This change enables an option to provide role specific parameter to services and other templates. Two new parameters - RoleName and RoleParameters, are added to the service template. RoleName provides the role name of on which the current instance of the service is being applied on. RoleParameters provides the list of parameters which are configured specific to the role in the environment file, like below: parameters_default: # Default value for applied to all roles NovaReservedHostMemory: 2048 ComputeDpdkParameters: # Applied only to ComputeDpdk role NovaReservedHostMemory: 4096 In above sample, the cluster contains 2 roles - Compute, ComputeDpdk. The values of ComputeDpdkParameters will be passed on to the templates as RoleParameters while creating the stack for ComputeDpdk role. The parameter which supports role specific configuration, should find the parameter first in in the RoleParameters list, if not found, then the default (for all roles) should be used. 2017-02-16Add OpenDaylightConnectionProtocol parameter to opendaylight-api serviceFeng Pan1-0/+5
OpenDaylightConnectionProtocol is currently only set in opendaylight-ovs service, it needs to be set in opendaylight-api when Opendaylight is deployed with another vswitch like VPP. Closes-Bug: #1665442 Change-Id: Ib20cacd5b15586f96c880ed5a371e7e3c85a7a8c Signed-off-by: Feng Pan <fpan@redhat.com>
2017-01-10Removes deprecated OpenDaylight L2 only deploymentsTim Rozet1-5/+0
Deploying ODL without L3 DVR is no longer supported. This patch moves the opendaylight-l3 env settings to be the new default for opendaylight env file, while also removing any option to disable L3. 2016-12-23Bump template version for all templates to "ocata"Steven Hardy1-1/+1
Heat now supports release name aliases, so we can replace the inconsistent mix of date related versions with one consistent version that aligns with the supported version of heat for this t-h-t branch. This should also help new users who sometimes copy/paste old templates and discover intrinsic functions in the t-h-t docs don't work because their template version is too old. 2016-12-20Adds missing firewall rules for OpenDaylight API serviceTim Rozet1-0/+6
Custom role deployments were not working when ODL API was on a different node due to firewall rules blocking traffic. This patch adds the missing rules for the REST communication to ODL (8081 by default), OVSDB connection (6640), and OpenFlow protocol (6653). 2016-11-07Fixes incorrect reference to OpendaylightApiNetworkTim Rozet1-1/+1
The renaming of the network to conform to correct case parsing was done and converted OpenDaylightApiNetwork -> OpendaylightApiNetwork. There was still a reference to the old network name which would result in an empty value being pass to odl_bind_ip. 2016-10-17Removes EnableODL heat parameter and fixes missing local_ip paramTim Rozet1-5/+0
EnableOpenDaylightOnController was not very composable. Removing this parameter to make the service truly composable. 2016-10-05Renames OpenDaylight to OpenDaylightApi and splits out OVS configurationTim Rozet1-11/+0
This patch modifies the service name to be more appropriately called "OpenDaylightApi" along side the "OpenDaylightOvs" service used to configure OpenVSwitch. It also splits out the OVS configuration for controller nodes into the composable OpenDaylightOvs service. 2016-08-27Rename opendaylight service to opendaylight_apiSteven Hardy1-0/+81
For compatibility with the custom-roles patches which convert hard-coded hiera mappings (such as opendaylight_api_node_ips) to data generated based on the service_name, we need to either change this name to match the hiera (node_ips and vip) keys, or change the hiera keys to match the service. I took the former approach because it involves less juggling patch dependencies between t-h-t and p-t. Change-Id: Ic179550027f37946097afe0e5b9f504ea19fa7bc Partially-Implements: blueprint custom-roles
