2016-12-23Bump template version for all templates to "ocata"Steven Hardy1-1/+1
Heat now supports release name aliases, so we can replace the inconsistent mix of date related versions with one consistent version that aligns with the supported version of heat for this t-h-t branch. This should also help new users who sometimes copy/paste old templates and discover intrinsic functions in the t-h-t docs don't work because their template version is too old. 2016-11-04Move db settings from manila-api to manila-baseBen Nemec1-0/+22
manila-share also needs the db configuration so the db-sync works correctly when manila-api is running on a non-controller node. Change-Id: Ib8a6f10ef6a650275fc011e51acfc4b5c7c99164 Closes-Bug: 1633077
2016-09-28Move db::mysql into service_config_settingsDan Prince1-6/+0
This patch movs the various db::mysql hiera settings into a 'mysql' specific service_config_settings section for each service so that these will only get applied on the MySQL service node. This follows a similar puppet-tripleo change where we create the actual databases for all services locally on the MySQL service node to avoid permission issues. 2016-09-13Add NetApp Manila driver integration and tidy up genericmarios1-66/+0
Enables configuring a NetApp backend for the Manila service This was created based on the review at https://review.openstack.org/#/c/188138/ This makes the netapp and generic backends disabled by default in the services/manila-backend-*.yaml. A backend is then enabled via backend-specific environment files, which will set any config parameters and enable that backend. It is expected that multiple manila backend specific environment files might be specified simultaneously. Finally generic and manila config is split into separate service files rather than using manila-base for all the things. 2016-08-18Add DefaultPasswords to composable servicesDan Prince1-0/+3
This patch adds a new DefaultPasswords parameter to composable services. This is needed to help provide access to top level password resources that overcloud.yaml currently manages (passwords for Rabbit, Mysql, etc.). Moving the RandomString resources into composable services would cause them to regenerate within the stack. With this approach we can leave them where they are while we deprecate the top level mechanism and move the code that uses the passwords into the composable services. 2016-08-18Pass ServiceNetMap to servicesGiulio Fidente1-0/+6
This will be needed to pick the network where the service has to bind to from within the service template. Change-Id: I52652e1ad8c7b360efd2c7af199e35932aaaea8c
2016-08-11Convert EndpointMap to not require per-service VIP parametersSteven Hardy1-1/+1
Currently we have a hard-coded set of per-service parameters, which will cause problems for custom roles and full composability. As a first step towards making this more configurable, remove the hard-coded per-service parameters from overcloud.yaml, and adjust the EndpointMap generation to instead accept two mappings, the ServiceNetMap and a mapping of networks to IPs (effectively this just moves the map lookup inside the endpoint map instead of inside overcloud.yaml) Change-Id: Ib522e89c36eed2115a6586dd5a6770907d9b33db Partially-Implements: blueprint custom-roles
2016-08-02Enable Manila integration - as a composable controller serviceRyan Hefner1-0/+119
Allows the installation and configuration of Manila. Supports the generic driver only. This has a dependency on the puppet-tripleo classes for manila where the puppet specific config now lives. The review at https://review.openstack.org/#/c/315658/ has been merge into this one, as of v68, so manila lands as a composable service. This was brought up on the mailing list at [1] [1] http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/openstack-dev/2016-May/096126.html Co-Authored-By: Marios Andreou <marios@redhat.com> Implements: blueprint composable-services-within-roles Depends-On: I444916d60a67bf730bf4089323dba1c1429e2e71 Depends-On: I9eda4b3364e5c59342761a1ec71b0eb567c69cf1 Depends-On: I571b65a5402c1028418476a573ebeb9450ed00c9 Change-Id: I7acebac4354fca1f8d7ff6c343c1346bf29b81c6
